The Asia Summer Program: An Asian Learning Experience in Japan

This paper describes a large scale inter-university program held in Japan which promotes international education, global citizenship and friendship. Successes of the program include the 'ready-made' international environment and the promotion of leadership while giving credibility to global standards' aspirations. By utilising networks universities can develop their own brand of innovative international education.
