塩基性両親媒性α－ヘリックスペプチドが遺伝子キャリアとして有用であることが報告されている。本研究では両親媒性構造内の疎水性領域の遺伝子導入能への影響を明らかにするため、異なる疎水性領域を有する数種のペプチドを用いて比較した。その結果、疎水性領域が大きいペプチドで高い遺伝子導入効率が認められた。
