Daikenchuto, a Traditional Kampo Medicine, Facilitates Mucosal Hyperemic Responses through Activation of TRPA1- andTRPV1-Expressing Sensory Nerves in Rat Stomach.
![]() |
Daikenchuto (DKT) increased gastric mucosal blood flow in a concentration-dependent manner. A-967079, a TRPA1 blocker, significantly inhibited the increase in gastric mucosal blood flow induced by DKT in rats. In contrast, BCTC, a TRPV1 blocker, inhibited the response to daikenchuto only in the late phase but not in the initial phase.
