脳障害乳幼児の上肢の自発運動の特性を非線形系解析を用いて評価した。脳障害を有している4例の乳幼児と7例の正常乳幼児を対象とした。上肢の自発運動を3軸加速度計を用いて測定した。脳障害を有している乳幼児の発達は複雑性を有していることが示され，この解析方法が脳性麻痺児の早期発見に利用できる可能性が示唆された。
