Effect of the Therapeutic Ultrasound on Active Range of Motion in Cervical Spine

The purpose of this study is to clarify how therapeutic ultrasound (US) changes active range of motion in cervical spine, skin temperature, pain threshold, and muscle hardness in upper trapezius muscle. The results showed that US had a significant increase in skin temperature, pressure pain threshold and active range of motion, and a decrease in the muscle hardness.
