In "Iwami Ginzan Research" (Issue 5), a collection of papers on the investigation and research of "Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine and its Cultural Landscape," Japan's first mining World Heritage Site, I wrote about the "Erzgebirge Mining Landscape," a World Heritage Site spanning Germany and the Czech Republic, which I surveyed on-site in August 2024.
