生活習慣病発症には、各疾患に関する検査項目が基準値内高値、年齢、肥満といったエビデンスが明らかになっている項目のほか、運動習慣もリスク因子であった。そのリスク因子を持つ者に早期に介入することで生活習慣病予防へとつながり、また、虚血性心疾患等の重症化予防には、生活習慣病治療中であっても、治療継続状況の確認の必要性について導出した。
