[Summary] It is founded that 6-gingerol in a dietary dose potentiates the regulatory effect of gastric acid secretion in response to low dose of capsaicin , although high dose of 6-gingerol also inhibited gastric acid secretion through activation of TRPV1. It is suggested that the combined administration produce the additive effect on gastric acid secretion through activation of
TRPV1.
