This paper aims to review our recent results on the developments of new Fe-based soft magnetic amorphous alloys with high Ms above 1.65 T and good ductility in the optimum annealed state, in conjunction with our other recent results on the high glass-forming ability, thermal stability and mechanical and chemical properties of Fe-based bulk glassy alloys with diameters above 10 mm, and to investigate future perspectives of the new Fe-based amorphous and glassy alloys as high performance magnetic and structural materials.
