Therapeutic Ultrasound Changes Muscle Hardness Under Three Conditions; Rest, Isometric Contraction, and Weight Load
The 6th WCPT-AWP & 12th ACPT Congress 2013, Taichung, Taiwan
The purpose of this study is to clarify how ultrasound (US) changes muscle hardness under the various conditions of upper trapezius. The US group showed a significant increase in the surface temperature, and a decrease in the muscle hardness in rest, muscle contraction, and weight loaded.
It was difficult to share the research parts due to the collaborative research.
