A process-oriented approach to L2 listening helps students learn-to-listen. The author outlined effective process-type tasks for listening practice and discussed needs so that participants could create their own tasks that match their teaching environments. Audience members were encouraged to participate. The tasks are viable for those participants with or without access to technology in their teaching environments.
