Increase of degree of spermidine stimulation of polypeptide synthesis in the presence of phosphate

リン酸塩の添加は、無細胞ポリペプチド合成システムの、スペルミジン(SPD)によるペプチド合成促進効果の増加させた。そのSPDによる促進効果の増加が、aminoacyl-tRNAのリボソームに結合する段階で起き、他の蛋白質合成の段階は無関係であることを示した。リボソームのサブユニットのRNase A感受性に関する研究の結果、 30Sリボソームサブユニットの性質はリン酸塩によって変更されることが示唆された。
