プロドラッグNabumetoneの還元代謝における代謝酵素を検討し、18β-HSDやAKR1Cの関与を確認した。本剤は活性代謝物6-MNAの生成に関係する酸化的代謝よりも還元代謝がin vitroでは進行しやすいことが明らかになった。
