本研究の目的は、日本で活躍する研究者を対象に国際会議開催における関心度を明らかにすることである。本研究の目的を明らかにするために機械学習の手法を用いて、研究者の国際会議開催に対する関心度を明らかにしている。開催経験の有無による差異について考察している。分析の結果、会場内のサービスや観光資源の活用についての認識が主催経験の有無により異なることを明らかにしている。
