Why was muscle force improved by 2sets of 15min hyperoxia recovery sessions after intermittent intensive exercise?
This study aims to identify the effects and mechanism of normobaric hyperoxia on local muscle fatigue recovery. Maximum voluntary contraction was improved on average 14% in hyperoxia recovery session compare to normoxia session, and this was associated with an improvement of oxygen debt in the muscle tissue. |
