This article focuses on the conception, implementation and qualitative evaluation of an online language learning program. This program was designed to cope with restrictions put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic and allow language students at a private university to continue their course studies effectively without being required to come to in-person classes on campus. Students took part in a curriculum designed around a hybrid of lecture-based sessions through online meeting software, such as Webex, and on-demand materials that students had access to online. The article discusses the conception of a new model of English curriculum, with a focus on goals and limitations. The implementation of the course is also described with a focus on its evaluation and potential for improvement on problems that were encountered and further implementation.
