This paper describes the process of designing and creating Global Visions: Practical Discussion Skills, an in-house digital ESL textbook. The textbook aligns itself with the United Nations’ SDGs. Original multimodal resources, including visuals and text-to speech audio with diverse accents, were designed using multimedia learning principles to enhance authenticity and comprehension.
