授業の到達目標及びテーマ

This course provides students with key microeconomics theories and insight into the strategic decision-making of firms/organizations.

After gaining knowledge about fundamental microeconomic concepts and the forces that operate within/outside of the industry(-ies), students are expected to acquire how the demand for company’s product is determined and quantified, how the production and cost are determined, how output and prices are determined, in a variety of market structures such as perfect competition, monopolistic competition, monopoly, and oligopoly.

fundamental economic concepts, five-forces analysis, demand analysis, production and cost, cost analysis, pricing and output decisions, perfect competition, monopolistic competition, monopoly and oligopoly, game theory, and organizational architecture and regulation.
