This course provides students with opportunities to foster their understanding of how to develop their future career to purse their unique jobs.

To do so, we expect active participation of students through a variety of hands-on experiences in career development throughout classes.*

*Taking into account each student’s history and concern for future plan, the materials below will be subject to change under instructors’ discretion.

授業の概要

Course Title: Career Development

Class Format: Lecture and Seminar

Content:

The classes are divided into two parts.

In the first part, we start by reflecting the past: we review some of the key life events and/or episodes that played milestones in students' life stories. Out of those reflections we expect the students to uncover their core values, strengths and weaknesses, and in what areas students would like to contribute through their jobs.

In the second part, students have a trial opportunity to join a recruitment site for finding a better job and demonstrate how to create a personal job-finding plan by making clear a target from Governmental Agency, Companies, Organization and Foreign-capital companies and how to approach to realize your target.

1 Reflect the past (1): key life events.
2 Reflect the past (2): key life episodes.
3 Reflect the past (3): key life milestones.
4 Create your own life stories.
5 Uncover core values, strengths and weaknesses.
6 Discover areas you wish to contribute through jobs.
7 Create and share your own Purpose Statement.
