In this course, you have a lot of opportunities to lean about the case studies and theory of SCM (Supply Chain  Management, besides the theories of Global Marketing, Global Logistics and Global Knowledge Management). After this course, you can have your original and own idea for Global Supply Chain Management

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a management system that control and manage every process from an origin of good to a destination of good. For example, a process is starting with ' 1. Procurement of material, stock and transport', ' 2. Making parts, stocking and shipping', ' 3. Manufacturing final products, inventory and shipping',' 4. Distribution Channel (Inventory, Wholesale and Retail)', ' 5. Sale to Final consumer, maintenance and recycling'.  The objective of SCM is to maximize throughput (production and sale volume in monetary amount). You can study of the theory of SCM and lean pragmatic case studies to obtain the capability to apply SCM theory into real life.
To study about Supply Chain Management, we are also looking at  Demand Chain and  Value Chain. These differences are very important for the study related to SCM. Chain of Custody is also an important concept. Demand is always the driver to the SCM to move forward. For focusing on Management, we will be concentrating to study to increase Company value, the value in the market. Ultimate Objectives of SCM is that Control and manage whole process for the  Optimization of end to end (all process) perspective, including all entities and Parties concerned  to maximize the cash flow.
