授業の到達目標及びテーマ
This course is for students who want to learn how to read English more quickly and how to understand English texts more effectively. It is based on the belief that a regular practice only can achieve this aim; therefore, it is expected that students participate and contribute to activities in class. This includes practice with many kinds of reading tasks and sharing your reading experiences and suggestions with other students via discussions and writings.
授業の概要
Students will practice skills with specially prepared exercises, apply their new skills to authentic texts, and discuss with classmates how they use their skills and the strategies. Students will also write critical responses to the readings.

FALL 1 ASSESSMENT:

In addition to this, teachers will assign preview and review activities as part of the regular homework assignments. Assessment of how fully students are previewing and reviewing the lesson content, as well as how successfully they have completed the preview and review activities assigned, is included in the homework and class participation section of the assessment guidelines set out below. Students will engage in a minimum of 1 hour of both preview and review study for each lesson.
