授業の到達目標及びテーマ
The aim of this course is to improve students’ knowledge regarding the structure of English language and how languages are learned. Students will gain an understanding of English language structure in terms of words, sentences, and speech sounds. In addition, students will develop their English teaching knowledge by seeing how language is acquired through first language acquisition, as well as factors that influence second language learning.
授業の概要
Students are expected to read a chapter of the textbook prior to each lesson. Students are also expected to make notes of each chapter to develop their note-taking skills. Active participation and discussion on each chapter occurs during each lesson. Students also complete a Writing Assignment during the course that is related to their thesis, and they also complete a Final Writing report.
