授業の到達目標及びテーマ
The main objective of the course is to provide first and second-year students with opportunities to discuss their research proposals and the challenges they face during the thesis writing process.
授業の概要
In this course students will be engaged in discussions about various aspects of language teaching and learning. The discussions will be based on their own research papers, their personal experiences, and also on their teaching demonstrations throughout the academic year.

1回
1. Self-introductions (including research interest, teaching experience and future goals)
2. Presentations by second-years on their current research
3. Discussion: timeline for the first two quarters

Second-year students will be revising their research proposal so that they can give short presentations to the new students the first day of class.
事後学習
First-year students (FYS) should prepare a tentative research plan to present the following class including their research questions.
Second-year students (SYS) continue working on their questionnaires and literature review.
