Each unit highlights the elements of communicating across cultures and practical tips to avoid embarrassment or cultural misunderstanding. Students will be expected to utilize the common spoken tasks based on the target language and structures acquired in class in order to gain a passing grade. The course builds on knowledge acquired in previous units and as a result attendance is expected each week, or in the case of absence evidence of having completed tasks missed due to absence.
