授業の到達目標及びテーマ
This English multi skills course is designed to build upon students' basic English knowledge at a linguistic and cultural level, and to develop their communicative ability. The course targets the use of CEFR-J A2-B1 vocabulary and grammar forms in different communicative contexts that enable students to gain confidence in their use and understanding of English.
授業の概要
Active participation in class is essential in this course with frequent pair-work & group-work activities. Students set learning goals at the start of each module and reflect on their strengths and weaknesses at the end of each module in order to develop their skills as autonomous learners. Repetition is also a key part of the course where learners are expected to review and preview class content by completing online assignments related to the textbook outside of class. Review and preview online activities will be assigned as part of the regular homework assignments. There are also three writing assignments and TOEIC assignments during the course and a final writing report.
