授業の到達目標及びテーマ
The aim of this course is to develop your speaking skills, critical thinking skills and presentation skills. Developing these areas will help strengthen your overall English ability. Reading passages about important social issues will improve your knowledge in these areas, too. You will learn important vocabulary related to specific topic areas.
授業の概要
We will read and listen to passages about societal issues. You will practice identifying the issues under discussion, people’s opinions about these issues, and their reasons for their opinions. You are expected to express your own opinion as well. You will develop your speaking skills by participating in activities such as group and pair discussions and in presentations.
