							Quarter 3 French III: 13 face-to-face lessons of 105 minutes spread over 7 weeks. 
							Goal and theme of the class At the end of the course, students should be able to: 1) Reinforce the knowledge of Quarter 1 and 2. 2) Express themselves orally and in writing on the topics beyond their personal world and understand temporal nuances in terms of facts, forecasts, and possibilities. 3) Develop an appreciation of the history of France, French people`s lifestyle, habits, ways of being and make comparisons with their own cultures. 授業の概要 
							Overview of the class 
							Students should be able to comprehend and respond with increasing proficiency to spoken and written French, demonstrate nuanced cultural awareness and develop an appreciation of the relevance of critical thinking in French. As a guideline for the Quarter 3 Fall 1 2023, elements of Spirale that were completed in the previous two quarters must be reviewed. Students will continue to explore new vocabulary, verbs and sentence constructions that go beyond the theme of Personal World. Lesson schedule French III is a continuation of French I and II that the students completed in Quarter 1 and Quarter 2. As a general guideline, in French III, students will review the pages 38 and 39 of Spirale and continue to develop an understanding of the vocabulary and written and spoken expressions going beyond the theme Personal World. 							Evaluation exam and grading 
							Students not meeting the minimum of 70% attendance grade will fail the course. Students need to score 60% or more to pass the course. This course is based on a system of continuous assessment. Students will have to submit a Final Report at the end of the course. There is no exam for this course.
