1. To develop presentation (both verbal and non-verbal, and written) skills so that you can effectively communicate important information and your ideas in both academic and practical situations as well as in cross-cultural environments
2. To develop presentation skills, including research design, data-driven and reasoned speech, and technologies 3. To understand and respect key concepts or issues of public speech such as information literacy and ethics 4. To cultivate audience awareness and self-confidence 授業の概要
Students acquires a variety of skills of academic and other formal presentations. Topics includes, but are not limited to, formal and informal speech, data-based and reasoned persuasion, cross-cultural communications and ethics, and techniques of oral and visual presentations. Students will learn a variety of techniques to conduct an effective communication—speaking (verbally and non-verbally), listening, and visually demonstrating—with audience of various cultural backgrounds in an academic or professional setting. They will also earn how to research, outline, and deliver formal presentations.
