The goal of the course is to provide students with an understanding of the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Central Europe, spanning literature, art, music, film, architecture, and traditions. Through an interdisciplinary approach, students will explore key cultural movements, figures, and themes that have shaped the identity of Central Europe and its contributions to global culture.
The overarching theme of the course is to examine how Central Europe's geographical location, historical significance, and multi-ethnic composition have influenced its cultural landscape.
