This course will focus on the effects culture has on a variety of topics and themes. Upon completion, students will be able to identify and explain how culture affects our interpretation of things and relate those interpretations to everyday life. Presentations will demonstrate and expand understanding of the material being studied.
授業の概要
This is a lecture and discussion course, so students will have the opportunity to discuss in pairs and small groups the ideas they are learning. The course will consist of class assignments, quizzes, discussion sessions, and presentations. The topics to be discussed will be chosen during the first lecture.
