To understand ' What is Innovation?' We will examine four aspects of technological innovation: exploring, executing, leveraging and renewing innovation. Our focus will be on entrepreneurial firms (new and established) and on firms that have been successful and unsuccessful in their innovation.
You will realize an interesting aspects of innovation management. 授業の概要
Starting with basic theory review for Joseph Alois Schumpeter,as a metabolism of economy that is a key driver for economic growth from creative destruction perspective.
We study about the importance of management theory of innovation by using 'The Innovator's Dilemma and The Innovator's Solution from Clayton M. Christensen, successfully following with up-to-date innovation theory such as 'open innovation'. In this course we focus on the practices and processes that managers use to manage innovation effectively so that it provides pragmatic best practices of innovations that are conducted by the Japanese Government and Japanese Companies. 授業計画
