FADやFMNの加水分解を阻害できるEDTA処理血漿を用いてFMNおよびRiboflavin（RF）静脈内投与後の血中動態を検討した。その結果、FMNはRFへの変換のみならず、FADへの変換が認められた。しかしながら、RFからFMNやFADへの変換は観察できなかった。本法は強制的に光分解物として総ビタミンB2を分析するルミフラビン法と遜色なく、個別に補酵素を定量できる点でメリットがある。
