一般病院の看護師が，高齢患者の入院時に，聴覚機能に関する情報収集及びアセスメントをどの程度行っているか，カルテ記載の実態調査を行った．その結果，かなり配慮のされている病院であっても，高齢者の聴覚に関する看護師のアセスメントの記載はカルテ上にはみられなかった．
