I am an advisor for the Alliance for International Education Japan where we address the challenges faces international schooling in Japan and beyond. As an academic and educator, I am aware of the changing trends in international schooling teaching and learning practices; through the different workshops I lead, I endeavour to create opportunities for students, parents, teachers, and school leaders to rethink educational models to address the unprecedented global concerns and issues of ecology, climate change, poverty, sustainability, equality, refugee crises, health, and peace. We all need to contribute to make a critical contribution to the way international education needs to be reshaped to make the world a better, safer and healthier and more inclusive place.
