Using e-learning to facilitate success in a repeaters’ program

Presented background information and rationale about the use of a CALL program for repeater students at a Japanese university. The purpose of the program was to provide repeater students an opportunity to receive credits outside of the traditional classroom. Data was presented that showed that while the program did have issues with accountability, there was a higher rate of success compared to students in the regular-track classes.
