Teaching presentation classes: presenting the reasons why.

This paper discusses the benefits of presentation as a vital tool to the teaching of second languages in Japanese tertiary education. Emphasis is made on the importance of strategically integrating communicative presentation to the classroom set up and, in the age of ubiquitous powerpoint presentations, ensuring students are aware of the different forms a presentation can take.
