Effects of dietary fish oil on cytochrome P450 3A expression in the liver of SHR/NDmcr-cp (cp/cp) rats, an animal model for metabolic syndrome

We investigated the effects of dietary fish oil on CYP3A expression in the liver of lifestyle-related disease model rats. The expression was induced by a high-fat diet, suggesting that dietary fish oil might affect the occurrence of adverse events related to drug metabolism in lifestyle-related diseases.
