Using video in the classroom: Pragmatics Instructional Pragmatics in the Japanese Junior High School, High School & University Contexts
This presentation discussed the use of a video-based set of instructional materials for teaching pragmatics in the Japanese context. Remarks by the materials developer explained the various components of the course content, from the videos themselves to the classroom tasks. Four teachers discussed how the materials are implemented and adapted to their teaching context, focusing on learner performance, motivation and progress. A question/answer session followed. |
