Many pharmaceutical sciences students in Japan lack basic high school–level mathematics due to declining academic skills, making remedial education essential. Traditional methods often fail to sustain motivation. A gamified e-learning tool improved motivation, reduced math anxiety, and supported continuous learning, suggesting gamification as an effective educational strategy.
